Prime Remit Free Service Campaign: Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the Prime Remit waiver marketing campaign (the “Campaign”). By participating in this Campaign, you agree to be bound by these Terms, in addition to the standard Prime Mobi Terms and Conditions of Service, which can be found here. In the event of any conflict between these Campaign-specific Terms and the standard Prime Mobi Terms and Conditions, these Campaign-specific Terms shall prevail.
1. Campaign Period
The Campaign will run from 4th August 2025 at 00:00 AM EAT to 31st July 2026 at 23:59 PM EAT (“Campaign Period”). Prime Remit reserves the right to extend or shorten the Campaign Period at its sole discretion, with prior notice communicated through email.
2. Eligibility
To be eligible for the free Prime Remit service, participants must:
- Be a registered and verified Prime Mobi user or successfully register and verify a Prime Bank account during the Campaign Period.
- Reside in a country where Prime Remit services are available and legally permitted.
- Comply with all Prime Bank’s Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies and procedures.
- Meet any additional criteria specified for this Campaign, such as being a new customer or completing a specific type of transaction.
- Be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction.
Employees of Prime Bank, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members will also be eligible to participate.
3. Campaign Offer
During the Campaign Period, eligible participants will be entitled to a 100% waiver of transfer fees on an unlimited number of transactions for Prime Remit services.
- Applicable Services: This offer applies only to Prime Remit service on Prime Banks digital channels (Prime Mobi & Prime Net).
4. How to Redeem the Offer
To redeem the free service, eligible participants must:
- Download or open the Prime Mobi App.
- Initiate a qualifying Prime Remit transaction during the Campaign Period.
- The fee waiver will be automatically applied at the point of transaction.
5. Exclusions and Limitations
- This Campaign offer cannot be combined with any other ongoing promotions, discounts, or offers unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- The free service does not apply to any third-party fees, charges from receiving banks, or currency conversion markups, which may still be applicable.
- Prime Remit reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be in violation of these Terms or engaging in fraudulent activity.
- The free service has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or other Prime Remit services.
- Prime Remit is not responsible for any technical issues, system failures, or other circumstances that may prevent a participant from accessing or utilizing the Campaign offer.
6. General Conditions
- Modification or Termination: Prime Remit reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this Campaign, or any part of it, at any time without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to, technical difficulties, unauthorized intervention, or fraud.
- Disputes: Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Campaign will be resolved in accordance with the laws of Kenya and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
- Privacy: By participating in this Campaign, you agree to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with Prime Mobi’s Privacy Policy, available here.
- Indemnification: Participants agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Prime Bank, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or in connection with their participation in the Campaign.
