At Prime Bank, we offer a suite of payment solutions designed to meet the needs of individuals, businesses, and partners. Our services are built on innovation, security, and efficiency to ensure every transaction is smooth and reliable.

Prime Remit, an international money transfer service on our Mobile banking app – Prime Mobi, will enable our customers send money to selected destinations across continents, as well as receive incoming money from worldwide destinations.

Prime Remit is a mobile based app service for international funds transfers being offered by Prime Bank on the Mobile App – PrimeMobi.

Prime Remit is a real-time 24/7 service, offering fast, convenient, and cost-effective means of remitting money internationally.

Prime Remit is very secure with a two-layered access control on PrimeMobi, via Login Pin and Transaction Pin. Also, the transmission of data between Prime Remit and Bank is via secure channel.

Not all International Banks are integrated with Prime Remit. However, you can remit money to any bank in selected countries as displayed on the PrimeMobi App.

You can send payments by accessing the Prime Remit menu on the PrimeMobi App.

Currently, only Customers who have registered on PrimeMobi can access the Prime Remit platform.

The Bank has maintained the following transaction limits for all Prime Remit remittances: Transaction Limit: USD 5,000/ or equivalent Daily Limit: USD 5,000/ or equivalent

As per CBK regulation any transaction under USD 10,000/ does not require supporting documents, however the bank retains the right to ask for any documentation required to assess the transaction bona fides.

The charges are based on the destination and vary from USD 1 to USD 6 with an additional charge of 0.5% on send amount. The charge will be calculated based on the USD rate of the day at the point of transaction.

The rate for Prime Remit transactions would be the rate available in the App at the time of carrying out the transaction.

Recipient will receive the funds on near real time basis however this will vary on the TAT defined for the corridor/country.

The Bank will credit the funds immediately upon receipt.

The funds will be credited immediately the Bank receives confirmation of failure of the transaction.

In case of transaction failure, the principal amount and charges will be refunded back to the Customer account..

Charges to the recipient will vary depending on the recipient`s bank.

Currently, only bank customers are allowed to use Prime Remit service.

Prime Remit is only for individual customers who are registered on PrimeMobi.

You can add as many beneficiaries as you wish. In case of any challenges with beneficiary addition/deletion/modification, please contact the Bank through our call centre.
